Church

Although Minsterley School is not a church school it does have excellent links with Minsterley Parish Church. Members of the church attend assemblies every fortnight and act out Bible stories through the ‘Open the Book’ project. The vicar of Minsterley, Rev. Giles Tulk also leads an assembly each month.
Many of our Key Stage 2 children have been involved in creating a wildlife, study and storytelling area in Minsterley Churchyard which was opened by Bishop Alistair McGowan in June 2017.
Members of the Parish Church are also regular volunteers in school helping children to learn to read, playing the piano for concerts and assisting with our development and exploration of the churchyard.
