Starting school is an important step in any child’s life, but it need not be a traumatic one. We hope that the contents of our ‘Welcome to the Early Years’ booklet will help you to prepare your child for their first school experiences. This booklet will also give you an insight into your child’s education in the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage.’
If your child has already attended another school
At Minsterley School new children are made to feel welcome and our staff make every effort to help them to settle quickly. We find that a new routine and the making of new friends can be quickly achieved. We use records forwarded from previous schools to ensure that continuity and progress is maintained.
